Doha is the home of the business class product that the rest of the industry measures itself against. Qatar Airways flies nonstop to Hamad International from a dozen American cities, including New York, Washington, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Philadelphia, and on the right aircraft the seat up front is the Qsuite, a private compartment with a closing door that redefined what a business class ticket buys.
The tricks of the Qsuite are real rather than theatrical. Center pairs convert into a genuine double bed, the quad configuration lets four travelers share a private dining space, and the door turns a seat into a small room. Dining is on demand throughout the flight. The honest caveat is that not every US route carries it; some still fly older cabins, and the equipment can change with the schedule. Checking the aircraft on your specific dates is part of every quote we build, and when the Qsuite is there, it is still arguably the best business class seat flying eight years after launch.

Winghoppers is extremely helpful! They always find the best flights at the best prices. Too bad I hadn't found you earlier, it would have saved me a lot of money. I can recommend it to everyone, even just to quickly check a price.

No. Selected routes and aircraft carry it, others fly older flat bed cabins, and equipment changes with the schedule. We confirm the aircraft on your exact dates before we quote.
Around twelve and a half hours from New York and up to sixteen and more from the West Coast. At least one direction is an overnight, where the closed suite earns its reputation.
Yes, and it is one of the best value moves in premium travel. Two or three nights in Doha adds little to the through fare, and the onward connections are among the shortest in the market.
Summer is the floor and the winter months are the peak. The shoulders, October and April, give you usable weather at noticeably softer fares, and Ramadan often brings quiet discounts.

The rest of the Doha file: Qsuite equipment, stopover strategy and the network that makes this airport a doorway to half the planet.
Read moreShow lessHamad International deserves its reputation. Transfers are fast, the architecture is calm, and the Al Mourjan lounge is closer to a hotel than an airport facility, which matters because for most travelers Doha is both a destination and a doorway. The stopover programs make a two or three night stay in the city remarkably cheap to add, and the museums, the souq and the desert beyond reward the pause. If you have only ever changed planes in the megahubs of Europe, the difference in pace is immediately obvious; connections that feel tight on paper are comfortable here.
Flight times run around twelve and a half hours from New York and over sixteen from the West Coast, overnight in at least one direction. The seasonal logic is pure Gulf: November through March is the pleasant peak, summer is fierce heat and floor pricing, and the shoulders are the value play. Ramadan shifts the rhythm of the city for a month each year; flights run on schedule and fares often soften, but daytime dining outside hotels goes quiet, which suits some travelers and not others. The infrastructure built for the World Cup left the city with hotels and transit far beyond its size, which keeps ground costs gentle.
The deeper value of Doha is the network behind it. Qatar Airways connects onward to the Maldives, East Africa, Southeast Asia and the subcontinent with some of the shortest total journey times in the market, and as a oneworld member it tickets cleanly alongside American and British Airways itineraries. A single negotiated premium fare can carry you from a US gateway through Doha to almost anywhere east of it, and that reach is why many of the best fares we find into Asia route through this airport.
Tell our travel experts your dates and your final destination, Doha or beyond. We confirm Qsuite equipment, compare the nonstops against the strongest one stop alternatives and come back with a personal quote typically within the hour, below published levels. If your plans include the Maldives or Southeast Asia, say so up front; the through fare is often barely above the Doha fare on its own.
